Crypto CVD Screener: Spot vs Perp Net Buying

Cumulative volume delta (CVD) adds up taker buys minus taker sells. This screener shows that net taker flow for the 100 most-traded coins over the last 1, 4 or 24 hours, split into spot and perpetual futures, and flags coins where the two disagree: spot buying while perps sell, or perps buying while spot sells.

Over the last 1 hour, the top 100 coins saw +$1.6M of net taker flow on spot and -$37.9M on perpetual futures; 47 of 86 spot books and 42 of 100 perp books were net bought. The strongest spot buying was in ETH (+$1.6M), and the heaviest perp selling in BTC (-$40.7M). 17 coins diverge: spot buying while perps sell in SOL, ZEC, BONK, ASTER; perps buying while spot sells in ENA, ZRO, LINK, LTC.

CVD screener FAQ

What is CVD in crypto?

CVD (cumulative volume delta) is the running total of taker buy volume minus taker sell volume. A taker is the side that crosses the spread with a market order, so a rising CVD means buyers are paying up and a falling CVD means sellers are hitting bids. This screener shows the net amount (the change in CVD) over the last 1, 4 or 24 hours for each coin, in US dollars.

Why compare spot and futures buying?

Spot buyers take delivery of the coin; perpetual futures traders can be leveraged, hedging or farming funding. When spot is net bought while perps are net sold, the move is carried by spot demand and shorts may be leaning against it. When perps are bought while spot is sold, the move is leverage-driven and more exposed to liquidations and funding swings. Neither is a signal on its own. Not financial advice.

Which exchanges are included?

Taker flow comes from the 1-minute bars this site records from the public feeds of Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid, which report how much of each minute's volume was bought by takers. Bitget, Gate, HTX, KuCoin and MEXC are left out because their feeds here carry no taker buy/sell split.

How are the labels decided?

Each side (spot or perps) counts as buying or selling when its net flow is at least 2% of the volume that carries a taker split and at least $10K; smaller imbalances count as balanced. Spot buying, perps selling and Perps buying, spot selling are the divergences. A coin traded only as a perp (or only as spot) on these exchanges has no label.
