What changed at CoinGlass
As ofOn CoinMarketCap announced that it has acquired CoinGlass. CoinMarketCap itself is owned by Binance, which acquired it in 2020.
CoinGlass says its pricing and free tools are unchanged. Its Prime plan costs $28 a month ($78 a quarter, $268 a year), and API plans run from $29 to $699 a month.

What you get here, free
- Live volume spikes with sound. The spike feed updates every few seconds and can beep or send a desktop notification when a spike matches your filters.
- What happened next. Every spike shows the price move 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 1 hour later, with averages per side on the pump scanner pages.
- Hyperliquid HIP-3 coverage. Stock, index and commodity perps with funding, open interest, OI-cap use and mark-vs-oracle basis.
- Auto-refresh at no cost. The live pages (spike feed, liquidations, funding, open interest) update on their own; CoinGlass lists auto-refresh as a Prime feature.
- No login. No account, no email. Filters and watchlists stay in your browser.
- Independent. Not owned by an exchange. Some trade links are referral links, disclosed in the footer; we never sell placement in the data.
What CoinGlass has that we don't (yet)
- No liquidation heatmap. The liquidations page lists live liquidations and 1h, 4h and 24h totals instead.
- No options data.
- No ETF flows.
- No Hyperliquid whale or wallet tracker.
- No alert delivery by Telegram, Discord or email yet: alerts are in-browser sounds and desktop notifications.
- Limited history: OI and price changes cover 1h, 4h and 24h from our own 5-minute snapshots; longer history and charts are being built.
- No public API.
