Majors derby: BTC, ETH and SOL daily winners
A tiny daily scoreboard for the three majors: which of BTC, ETH and SOL had the largest close-to-close return on each of the last seven completed UTC days, on their Binance USDT perpetuals, and who leads those seven slots. A less negative return wins a down day; a lead under 0.01 percentage points is a dead heat. Observed returns between recorded hourly snapshots, not a prediction and not a trade signal.
Majors derby: BTC 3, ETH 2, SOL 2; no dead heats (7 comparable days), 22 Oct 2026 to 28 Oct 2026 UTC. BTC leads with three sole wins. Newest comparable day, 28 Oct 2026: BTC +0.53%, ETH +0.34%, SOL +0.99%; SOL won.

Each cell is the coin's return between the recorded hourly close snapshot at 00:00 UTC and the one at 24:00 UTC on its Binance USDT perpetual, not the exchange's official daily settlement. A day is compared only when all three contracts have both snapshots with usable prices; otherwise the slot is unavailable and is never filled from another date, hour or venue. The largest return wins, so a less negative return wins a down day. A lead under 0.01 percentage points is a dead heat with no sole winner. The newest day joins the board 3 hours after midnight UTC, once its hourly data has settled. The page is indexed once at least 3 of the seven days are comparable.
Majors derby FAQ
How is each day's winner decided?
For each completed UTC day the page compares the three coins' returns between the recorded hourly close snapshot at 00:00 UTC and the one at 24:00 UTC on Binance BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT and SOLUSDT. The largest return wins, so on a day when all three fell the one that fell least wins. A lead of less than 0.01 percentage points is a dead heat: the tied leaders are listed and nobody gets the win.
Why is a day shown as unavailable?
A day is compared only when all three contracts have both close snapshots stored with usable prices. If one is missing, the slot stays on the board as unavailable; the page never fills it with an older day, a neighbouring hour or another exchange's contract. The newest day joins the board 3 hours after midnight UTC, once its hourly data has settled.
Are these official daily closes?
No. They are returns between hourly close snapshots this site records from Binance's public data, not the exchange's settlement or index fixes, so they can differ slightly from a candle chart's daily close. Nothing here is financial advice.
