SNDKB taker buy/sell ratio

SNDKB taker buy/sell ratio: the volume bought by market orders divided by the volume sold by market orders. Above 1, takers bought more SNDKB than they sold. The table shows it over the last 1, 4 and 24 hours on each exchange, perps and spot apart, and the chart shows its history.

SNDKB is not among the coins the taker ratio table tracks right now, so there is no exchange breakdown for it. The history chart below still shows its stored taker buy share.

How to read it. A ratio above 1 (green) means takers bought more SNDKB than they sold over the window; below 1 (red), more selling. Within 3% of 1 counts as even. The history chart shows the taker buy share, buys ÷ (buys + sells): 50% is a ratio of 1, 55% about 1.22. Its long history is Gate's SNDKB USDT perpetual (hourly, from October 2023, where Gate's history is stored); Binance's 5-minute futures taker ratio is shown from when this site began recording it. Net dollar flow is on the SNDKB CVD page, positioning on the SNDKB long/short ratio, price and funding on the SNDKB page. Not financial advice.

SNDKB taker buy/sell ratio FAQ

What does the SNDKB taker buy/sell ratio show?

It is SNDKB taker buy volume divided by taker sell volume, from this site's 1-minute bars of every exchange that reports a taker split. The history chart plots the taker buy share (buys over buys plus sells; 50% is a ratio of 1) for Gate's SNDKB USDT perpetual from October 2023 and Binance's SNDKB futures since this site began recording it.

What is the taker buy/sell ratio?

A taker is the side of a trade that crosses the spread with a market order. The taker buy/sell ratio is the volume bought by takers divided by the volume sold by takers over a window. A ratio of 1.20 means takers bought 20% more than they sold; 0.80 means they sold 25% more than they bought. It measures aggression, not positioning: every trade has a buyer and a seller, and the ratio only says which side was in a hurry.

How is it calculated here, and what is left out?

From the 1-minute bars this site records from each exchange's public feed: taker buys are the bar's taker buy volume and taker sells are its volume minus taker buys, summed over the window. Minutes whose feed carries no taker buy/sell split (a feed without the split, the first minute after a reconnect, or one the stream missed) are excluded from both sides rather than counted as selling. When nothing at all was sold the ratio is undefined and shown as a dash.
