“+” after the hours: the streak already ran at the start of the window, so it is at least that long. Coins are the first 100 perpetuals by volume; ties are ordered by the larger long-share change, then by volume.

98 of the first 100 perpetuals by volume have no stored Binance top positions hours in this window and are not listed.

How an hour counts. For each hour h of the last 168 completed UTC hours, the long-share change is the hour’s average long share minus the previous hour’s, in percentage points, and the price change is the hour’s last close over the previous hour’s last close, minus one. The hour counts when the long share moved at least 0.10 pp and the price at least 0.10% in the opposite direction: Buying the dip is long share up while price is down, Fading the rally is long share down while price is up. Any other hour ends the streak, including a smaller move, a move in the same direction, a switch between the two types and an hour missing on either series. A streak’s long-share and price changes run from the hour before its first hour to its last hour.

Reading it. Account ratios count accounts, not notional: one account counts once whatever its size; top-trader positions instead weigh the largest traders by position size. Binance ratios are sampled every 5 minutes and averaged per hour; prices are the same exchange’s USDT perpetual. A streak is an observation, not a forecast: it describes where the sample leaned against the move, not where price goes next. Data comes from exchange public APIs, stored by our engine; see each coin’s long/short ratio for the live readings. Refreshed every two minutes, and at each UTC hour.
