Insurance pools may cover liquidation shortfalls within their own scope. Fund size is not proof of solvency or guaranteed protection. Assets in one pool may not cover losses in another; ADL can still reduce opposing positions. Asset balances and USD valuations are distinct.

Does the Gate insurance fund guarantee protection?
No. Fund size is not proof of solvency or guaranteed protection. Coverage is pool-specific; one pool's assets may not cover another pool's losses. If the applicable fund cannot absorb a liquidation loss, auto-deleveraging (ADL) may reduce opposing positions.
How are Gate fund balances valued?
Asset balances retain their original units. USD values use the existing recorder's rules: Bybit's reported USD value, stablecoins at $1, and supported coins at futures mark prices. Unpriced assets are marked unpriced, never valued at zero. History prefers fully priced snapshots; if none exist, the priced subtotal is shown with an incomplete valuation label.
How fresh is the Gate insurance history?
Dates refer to recorded observations, not page visits. Collection is hourly; Gate publishes daily readings. The latest pool table may be newer than the latest fully priced history point. Only recorded pools are shown; balances below the recorder's $10K threshold may be omitted.
