Leveraged DCA Liquidation Ladder Calculator

Check each leveraged averaging fill against liquidation before adding its collateral, with stage-by-stage average entry, fees and margin.

Generic single-position isolated linear model. Check whether the position survives each adverse price before its next order fills. Quantities are coins; collateral and prices use USDT, treated as a USD equivalent.

Use one to five contiguous fills. Leave unused rows blank. Added long prices must decrease; short prices must increase. Blank top-ups mean zero. Only the first price can use a fresh selected-venue USDT perp reference; all entered prices, collateral and rates are manual assumptions.

Does the position reach the next fill?

First price: 80548 USDT / BTC — collected reference, Binance BTCUSDT USDT perpetual. Source price observed 2026-10-25 22:18:00 UTC; snapshot 2026-10-25 22:19:17 UTC.

Reachable
under your constant-rate assumptions

All entered fills are reachable under this model. This is not a guarantee of execution or survival on an exchange.

The stage table is below the form. On a phone, scroll the table sideways for all numeric columns. Its first column always identifies unreachable, breached and not-simulated stages.

Top-up timing: collateral on an order arrives only when that order fills. It cannot prevent liquidation on the way to that order. Equality means liquidation first. To model cash already deposited before the next move, include it in an earlier reachable fill or C₀.

Opening fees are paid once on each filled order. The same fee fraction also reserves a potential closing fee in the liquidation boundary; it is not deducted a second time from cash collateral.

A breached filled stage has equity at or below maintenance plus the closing-fee reserve at its fill price. It is shown for diagnosis, and forward simulation stops immediately. Numbers display up to 12 significant digits; reachability is checked before display rounding.

Stage formulas and limitations

For filled orders through stage i: qᵢ = Σqⱼ, Nᵢ = Σ(pⱼqⱼ), Eᵢ = Nᵢ / qᵢ, Cᵢ = C₀ + Σtop-ups − fNᵢ. Cash Cᵢ excludes unrealized PnL. Effective entry leverage is Nᵢ / Cᵢ when cash is positive.

With a = m + f < 1, the existing generic liquidation formula gives Long LP = max(0, (Nᵢ − Cᵢ) / (qᵢ(1 − a))) and Short LP = (Nᵢ + Cᵢ) / (qᵢ(1 + a)). A fully collateralized long can have LP = 0, with no positive-price liquidation under this model.

Before applying the next order or top-up, stop if long LP ≥ its next price, or short LP ≤ its next price. Equivalently, equity at that price must strictly exceed (m + f) × qᵢ × price. This comparison uses unrounded cash and notionals.

Example: long 1 coin at 100 with C₀ = 10, m = 0.005 and f = 0 has LP ≈ 90.4522613065. An order at 90 is unreachable even if it carries a 100 USDT top-up. An order for 1 coin at 95 is reachable: average entry becomes 97.5, cash remains 10 and LP ≈ 92.9648241206. A later 90 order is then unreachable.

Funding, execution gaps, slippage, mark/last-price differences, venue liquidation rules, maintenance deductions and changing risk tiers are excluded. Inverse contracts and cross/portfolio margin are outside this tool. This is a hypothetical forward ladder, not a historical DCA backtester, order builder or account liquidation quote.
