Method. Each contract uses only its own recorded hourly funding averages, not settlements. The latest available completed hour is compared with preceding observed hours inside the selected window. Rank = 100 × count(history ≤ comparison) ÷ sample count. Flat histories are valid and rank at 100. Quantiles interpolate linearly at (n − 1) × p in sorted history.
Coverage is observed preceding hours divided by expected preceding hours (167 for 7 days; 719 for 30 days). Missing hours are never zero-filled. Ranking requires at least 80% coverage and 120 samples for 7 days or 500 for 30 days. A series ending more than two hours behind the latest expected completed hour is stale and unranked. The displayed completed-hour timestamp is its start.
Materialized hourly averages are followed by a non-overlapping raw quote tail. Latest stored quotes use their recorded observation time; separate live quotes are excluded when flagged stale. Live quotes do not determine the rank. Historical summaries can remain visible with insufficient coverage. Data comes from exchange public APIs through the existing recording service.
