Normalize venue/symbol identity, then select one eligible contract per coin/venue: USDT before USDC before USD, then symbol. Median eligible venue funding includes true zero. Even venue counts use the mean of the middle two quotes. Hub rates are already normalized to 8 hours; different native settlement intervals do not add votes.
Fresh volume sums available non-stale 24h volume on these selected eligible contracts, treating supported USD quotes as comparable USD notional. Missing or stale volume is excluded; a coin needs at least one fresh volume observation to rank. Volume ties sort by coin. Snapshot time above is UTC and is not an individual quote observation time. Snapshot cache refreshes within 120 seconds.
