CLANKER Funding Rate and Open Interest on Gate

Daily mean of hourly observed 8-hour-equivalent funding, not settled payments or a cashflow sum. Each hour uses the chart's open-interest weighting across Gate CLANKER perpetual contracts (a plain mean when no positive OI is available). Stored rates are already normalized; today's settlement interval is not applied again. Coverage counts usable hourly buckets, not every five-minute sample. Missing hours are excluded, not zero.

Each hour is the last recorded open interest per Gate CLANKER perpetual contract within that hour, summed across contracts, exactly as the Gate open interest chart above is built. A contract missing from an hour is carried forward from its last recorded value for at most four hours, as on the chart. These are recorded samples from Gate's public API, not a complete census of every open position nor a list of every freshly observed print. An hour without a recorded value is unavailable, not zero, and a change is shown only between two adjacent recorded hours whose earlier value is positive.
